TEMPERATURE REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTALLATION
Install ONLY when vehicle + panel surface is 65°F–85°F
Do NOT install below 55°F
Cold gel-back becomes rigid and can contract faster than the resin layer, which may cause internal separation if installed too cold.
KEEP NANO-HOLD TECHNOLOGY PANELS DRY FOR THE FIRST 24–48 HOURS
Water exposure during the first day or two can allow moisture to migrate into the panel edge or under the gel-back if the panel is not yet fully bonded. This moisture can prevent the panel from finishing its bonding process. If panels get wet before properly bonding, you must remove the panels, dry both the vehicle and panels completely, and reinstall with the required bonding time of 24–48 hours before allowing water exposure. The cleaning feature of the nano-hold technology material is that the gel-back will turn into a smooth plastic when wet, allowing debris to rinse off easily. Once the material is fully bonded with sealed edges, you can drive through an automatic car wash without issue — but the bonding time is critical for installation success.
COLD WEATHER BEHAVIOR
The Armor will stay bonded down to 15°F provided it is initially installed and set above 55°F. Panels are not rated for freezing rain, melting snow, or wet slush. Armor can be used in winter months as long as the panels remain dry.
HOW TO PREVENT COLD WEATHER DAMAGE
Install in proper temperatures (above 55°F)
Ensure panels stay dry during the first 24–48 hours
Use during winter only when panels remain dry
Avoid freezing rain, melting snow, or wet slush
If storing, keep panels flat (or rolled in carry bag) and indoors

We've had this on our Jeep Gladiator for a while now, and it's done exactly what it's supposed to do: taken the hits so our Jeep doesn't have to. We've got real dents and scrapes it's absorbed that would've otherwise landed right on the truck.
But honestly, what pushed this from "good product" to "review-worthy" is the customer service. It's rare these days to find a company that actually stands behind what they sell. Mek Magnet does, and they don't make you wait around or jump through hoops to get help. They respond fast and treat you like a person, not a ticket number.
Great product, and a company that backs it up. That combination is harder to find than it should be.

This stuff is the real thing.. installed it in Oct 2025.. it's now July 2026, has never come off. Video is my door after I rolled it on its side in July 2026.. still on the door..door is destroyed, but paint under is perfect. Buying a new set today

I’ll be honest. I tried the thinner paint protective set first and apparently my caveman hands made a mess out of it. Even though I botched the job horribly, I really liked the look of it so I bit the bullet and pressed a new set of the nanotec hold trail armor. It was exactly what I should have ordered the first time. Stays on super strong (much firmer hold than the old magnet style) and was easy to work with. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on it.

This armor is absolutely awesome, it’s simple to install and has great holding power ! It is much thicker for protection than I was expecting. The second I seen the ghost camo black pattern I knew it was meant for my gladiator ! It looks so great and matches along with everything I’ve done to it so far. My only regret is not being able to get it sooner to protect my gladiator. The MEK magnet personnel are top notch and answered all my questions quickly. They were super nice and down to earth. Quality of the product goes right along with them and shows proof of a great product they can stand behind. I can’t wait to get to put it to the tests and show it off. Great Product. Had to do some cutting in order to adjust for some aftermarket parts. The stuff is quite sticky as well when it comes to adhering to the body. Made a mistake and laid a piece to close to the garage floor. Dog hair and leaves stuck to gel side. Washed it off and let dry for an hour and it was good as new. Took about 2 hours to install, with patience and dogs trying to help out. Thank you for your product.

We purchased this for our new Gladiator in preparation for the Top of the Ozarks Jeep Jamboree. Monika did a wonderful job making sure we got in time for the trip. The kit arrived on time and I proceeded to install it. Cleaned the JT very well before adding anything. The kit comes in a large roll that has all of the pieces pre-cut. To get rid of the "roll" in the pirces, I would lay them on a blanket in the sun to warm up and relax. Then I would install them on the JT. This adhesive is very strong. I had to reposition some of the pieces to make them line up and it takes some effort to pull them off. Since the install, we have received many compliments from people in parking lots, on the street, at the Jamboree, saying how much they love it. And it did a wonderful job of protecting the JT in the tight trails at Top of the Ozarks in Southern Missouri Off-Road Ranch. This is also a great place to wheel anytime.
