So it’s my fault for not realizing that the newer JLUs are aluminum body, so a magnet won’t stick. I found that out when I received the product and it had a label on the outside of the box stating this fact. The alternative is a tacky gel (think alien tape) that doesn’t leave a residue on your vehicle (confirmed because I had to peel it off several times to get it the way I wanted). Very sensitive to water and you gotta make sure you remove the wax off of the areas or it will peel off while driving (hard lesson learned). All in all it is a good look. I kept the product because I had already applied it and it does look nice. Not sure if I would have ordered it if I knew up front that it was a sticker versus a magnet.

I love how the America in Gradient color scheme works with my billet silver JLU Sahara. People think it was custom made for my Jeep! I've gotten a lot of compliments just on the looks. And then when I tell people they are actually functional protection armor panels that can be removed and reused over and over... they are blown away!
The first time putting the armor panels on does involve a little practice. But once you learn how they line up, and how to smooth out the air bubbles it becomes an easy install without really thinking about it. Just be sure that your Jeep is clean and free of all dirt and wax for good adhesion.
The company is right here in the USA and great to work with. Monika is always quick to get back to your requests and help with any issues or questions you might have. She's a "Jeeper" herself, and you know we all stick together :)

Easy to install. A second set of hands will help. Dropped on in the dirt, discovered rinsing in clear water, let dry and works perfectly. Removal will be a challenge, sticks really well!

This is my third set of MEk magnets. I had them for my 2004 TJ Rubicon, my 2015 JkU Rubicon and now my 2021 JL Rubicon Diesel! I do a lot overlanding over long distances. I highly recommend MEK magnets. IMHO they are the best protection you can buy for your Jeep! Worth every penny!

I really like functionality of these and they provide excelllent protection, as I can see where brush scrapped them versus my paint. I did have some troubles getting some to stick at first but after washing them I got them to stick better.
The one thing I wish could be better is the ability to get bubbles out easier, since it cant be wet applied. At a distance it looks great up, but up close you can see the bubbles. Spent 2.5 weeks out in Colorado and it did its job while out wheeling.

This is my 2nd set of MEK armor for my JLU because I loved the 1st one so much. Wow. It is so light weight and beautiful. This new armor is even easier to handle with 1 person than the previous and 17lbs lighter shipping weight which means less weight on your rig with amazing protection. I am eager to get this new set out on the trails. With the ease of handling I can change sets out for my mood or seasons of the year (need that holiday set). Great job.

Easy to apply, remove, and reposition. No instructions needed beyond the labels for associated body part. I did have one piece fall off overnight...and 2 pieces that persistently peel up a bit. Driving with them applied tomorrow so we will see. I did thoroughly clean the jeep before applying but a small possibility of some tiny amount of wax residue in the areas not sticking well.

I like the way the armor was shipped all rolled up. Peeling it off the shipping material is easy and having the name of where the piece goes helps. Once in place, you don't have to worry about it coming off. Its on to stay, even at highway speeds. When I remove it, I plan on putting it back on the shipping material to keep it safe. I wore it during a recent Jeep Jamboree in Missouri last week and I know for a fact it saved me a lot of "pin-stripes" on the sides of my new Rubicon. Customer service is top-notch and they go out of they way to ensure you are happy.

I use the Mek magnet ( black flag ) on the mail route to keep my rhd jeep from getting scratch from the mailbox lid and low lying limbs . So far no complaints and all my coworkers love the look

Wow oh wow am I so impressed. I was bummed having a plain white Jeep that looked like everyone elses. Well my guy looks so unique now. I just put the armor on today and had to go out right away. We got so many looks by passersby with huge smiles. I installed it by myself and had no problem. The product comes with every piece identified making it real easy. I must add we "accidentally" found a huge mud puddle after the rain and my Jeep was covered except any place armor was. We even zoomed thru the local self car wash with no problem with the armor still on. Thank you for the one of kind, amazing product already showing to protect my Jeep from the elements. This is amazing.

Love the look and the protection! Wheeled all weekend at the JJUSA-Geteway to the Cumberlands, no new “pinstripes”, only took 20 minutes to remove and store for next time.
