No. PPV, or Paint Protection Vinyl, is a one-time-use, automotive-grade vinyl designed to provide light-duty paint protection.

Install it once and leave it on for years. If one area eventually needs replacement, the individual PPV panel can be removed and replaced without replacing the entire kit.

Is PPV hard to install and remove?

All Clear PPV comes pre-cut for DIY installation and is designed to be beginner friendly. It is thicker and less stretchy than typical vinyl, making each panel easier to position and handle.

Yes. All Clear PPV is designed for light-duty paint protection. Think thin branches with leaves and light brush, rather than the thick, bare branches that MEK Trail Armor is engineered to shield against.

What is the finish of All Clear PPV?

All Clear PPV has a subtle matte finish when installed. It allows your Jeep's original paint color to remain visible while gently softening the surface shine.

Can I use Nano-Hold Technology Armor over All Clear PPV?

No. Nano-Hold Technology Armor can be used over compatible printed PPV, but it is not recommended over All Clear PPV.

All Clear PPV has a slightly rubbery top texture that can cause Nano-Hold Technology to bond too strongly. This may make the Armor more difficult to remove and could potentially pull the All Clear PPV away from the vehicle during removal.

For this reason, do not install Nano-Hold Technology Armor over All Clear PPV.
