TEMPERATURE REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTALLATION

• Install ONLY when vehicle + panel surface is 65°F–85°F
• Do NOT install below 55°F
• Cold gel-back becomes rigid and can contract faster than the resin layer, which may cause internal separation if installed too cold.

KEEP NANO-HOLD TECHNOLOGY PANELS DRY FOR THE FIRST 24–48 HOURS

Water exposure during the first day or two can allow moisture to migrate into the panel edge or under the gel-back if the panel is not yet fully bonded. This moisture can prevent the panel from finishing its bonding process. If panels get wet before properly bonding, you must remove the panels, dry both the vehicle and panels completely, and reinstall with the required bonding time of 24–48 hours before allowing water exposure. The cleaning feature of the nano-hold technology material is that the gel-back will turn into a smooth plastic when wet, allowing debris to rinse off easily. Once the material is fully bonded with sealed edges, you can drive through an automatic car wash without issue — but the bonding time is critical for installation success.

COLD WEATHER BEHAVIOR

The Armor will stay bonded down to 15°F provided it is initially installed and set above 55°F. Panels are not rated for freezing rain, melting snow, or wet slush. Armor can be used in winter months as long as the panels remain dry.

HOW TO PREVENT COLD WEATHER DAMAGE

• Install in proper temperatures (above 55°F)
• Ensure panels stay dry during the first 24–48 hours
• Use during winter only when panels remain dry
• Avoid freezing rain, melting snow, or wet slush
• If storing, keep panels flat (or rolled in carry bag) and indoors
